Who is Responsible for Employee Conduct in the Work-Place?

In 2006 OSHA and the Drug-Free Workplace Alliance particularly focused on educating workers on safety and productivity hazards created by the abuse of alcohol and other drugs in the workplace.
OSHA provides information addressing the supervisor's role in enforcing a drug-free workplace policy and intervening in situations involving alcohol and drugs.



Supervisors can be held accountable if an Employee caused a workplace accident due to the abuse of drugs or alcohol. (Once you know, you know)
